Hi all,
I was using Cisco call manager 4.x with Cisco TSP 4.x for my TAPI applicaiton and it was working fine.

But now i changed to Call Manager 7.0 and TSP 7.0. I have done all the configurations whatever i have done for 4.x in 7.x also. But it does not shows the line.

When i checked with the Dialer application, Call manager line is not showing ?

Does Cisco Call manager 7.x support Cisco IP softphone ?

Can anybody help me out in this regard ?
 Thanks in advance.

The usual things to check:

- User exists in UCM admin UI (app-user or endpuser) and password is correct
- User has Role Standard CTI Enabled (but NOT Standard CTI Secure Enabled, unless you have fully configured all secure connection prerequisites)
- IPC device is associated to the user

If all of this checks out, enable the TSP logs in the Phone/Modems control panel (detailed level/all types) which may give you a clue.  Feel free to attach here if you can't spot anything.

May I ask where did you download the CiscoTSP 7.0?
Because I can't found it =_= ...
Thanks

From the web admin pages of the UCM server itself - under Applications/Plugins.

Hi David,

Thanks and i have updated the version to 7 now

But I got another problem now ...

I have
- created the user in UCM
- Add the user to the Roles of
"Standard CTI Allow Control of All Devices"
"Standard CTI Allow Call Monitoring"
- associated the device to the user

But i still can't capture the information via the Dialer application
It was working fine when the UCM was v6.0

I have attached the log file, do you know what I missing ??
thanks

The TSP logs have the following error:

08/26/2009 17:52:15.328 CiscoTSP001.tsp|   ProviderOpenCompletedEvent::Trace
       ProviderInfo = 7.1.2.20000-2
         Description = Directory login failed - User not present in Standard CTI Users group.
         bMonitorCallParkDNs = 0
         dwProviderId = 16777221
         dwDSCPForCTI2Apps = 0|<LVL::Special><MASK::0200>

I think you need to add the user to 'Standard CTI Enabled' group.  My take is that 'Standard CTI Enabled' allows connection to CTI-Manager, 'Standard CTI Allow Call Monitoring' allows monitoring priviledges.
