After installing the cisco TSP 7.1 it causes acrobat reader to fail when trying to view a pdf inside Internet Explorer or any other browser.  The issue appears to be with the ace.dll that the Cisco TSP install adds to the C:\windows\system32 folder.  We have tried to reinstall Acrobat v 9.2.0 but it still doesn't fix it.  Has anyone else had this problem?

I was unable to reproduce this:

- WinXP SP2
- Install Adobe Reader, verify IE 8 embedded PDF viewing works
- Install Cisco TSP from UCM v7.1(3), verify IE embedded PDF viewing works

Installing the TSP on a client on a clean system does not to appear to install ace.dll.  Neither does installing Adobe reader 9.2 for that matter.  Googling ace.dll results in many reports that it is part of a malway/spyware package..?

Any details, specifics or steps to reproduce (ideally from a clean system) appreciated.  We have no other reports of an issue like this at this time...

We opened a TAC case to resolve this issue.  It appears to be caused by Cisco bug ID CSCsx60768.  We were running version 7.1.2 of CallManager.  The temporary fix was to uninstall adobe reader 9.2 and install adobe reader 8.  The final solution was to upgrade our CallManager to 7.1.3 and reinstall the TSP client from it.  We could then install the latest adobe without any problems.
