Which Microsoft operating systems are supported by the cisco TSP?
What about Windows Server 2008?

The TSP is supported through Vista/2003 versions of Windows.  Official Windows Server 2008 support is planned for the upcoming UCM 8.0 release, though it 'should work' for now.

We did a test with Server 2008 64 bit. The cisco UCM 7 TSP is not visible in the phone & modem options. I think a 64 bit TSP is required.

Don't suppose you got any further with this did you? Just got all excited about the integration, then found out the driver doesnt run in x64.

64-bit support for the TSP is not committed for any near term release - if you have a compelling business case, let us know!

Won't even work out on Windows 7 64-Bit? I can't have it running.

My business case is that my business uses the click-to-dial functionality, and we're migrating to Windows 7 x64, which will not install the TSP. I've been unable to find any information about anyone else getting it to work either, but I'd assume most businesses and enterprises looking to upgrade client computers are going to be moving in the 64-bit direction in the very near future (if they haven't already).

Is that compelling enough?

I love the Cisco 'compelling business case' statement.

I have attempted to place orders for Cisco licenses in the past, and asked to expedite them as we need to have additional users logging into the system.
Cisco wanted a "compelling business case statement" to expedite, and once we gave that expedited the order by 1 day... so we only needed to wait 29 days instead of 30.

Now I find out that our 64 bit clients can't use some of the features of the $300,000+ Cisco systems we have in place....

It's the year 2010. Windows 2008 doesn't even come in 32 bit..... I think it's save to say that 64 bit is here to stay...

Stressing.... 4 years I've waited to have click to dial..... now I have it, and can't use it....because my workstation is too advanced....

Sigh....

Folks,

I was just asked this question again today, and I have an update from my colleague George Gary.  64-bit TSP client support for Windows Server 2008 is slated for CUCM release 8.5(1) SU, and 64-bit JTAPi support for Windows Server 2008 is slated for release 8.6(1).
