I'm trying to figure out when a call has arrived to a device due to a blind transfer/single step transfer operation.

The dev guide states that events caused by a blind transfer, must contain REASON_BLINDTRANSFER constant in the CiscoFeatureReason attribute.

I'm using the new tester tool to check is this reason is properly populated, but the results are not as expected. The REASON_BLINDTRANSFER is never used.

I'm using the CallControlConnection.transfer method to produce the blind_transfer/single step transfer.

Why CiscoFeatureReason is not properly populated with the REASON_BLINDTRANSFER value when i'm performing the transfer?
Should i should a different method in order to produce the proper reason?
Anyway, was is the best approach to know if the call arriving to a device is due to a blind transfer (in terms of call event inspection)?

CUCM Version used : 6.1.12

hi Jaime,

To investigate on this issue, we will be in need of the detailed JTAPI logs. Could you please attach the same?

Thanks and Regards,
Anitha

Hi,

Has this issue been fixed in newer Cisco JTAPI releases?  I am using 6.1 and finding the same problem.  The alerting event has a reason code NORMAL, I would like it to be BLINDTRANSFER or TRANSFER.  The reason is set for TRANSFER on the ConnCreated and ConnInProgress events.

Received (P1-ace) 2347118/1 ConnCreatedEv 8005: [#8] Cause:100 CallCtlCause:0 CiscoCause:0 CiscoFeatureReason:2 for 8005 18628307/1 REASON=TRANSFER Cause: CAUSE_NORMAL
