Hi all,

Has anyone ever tried to use CVP version 4.x licenses with version 7.0.2. Because I have upgraded my system to 7.0.2 from 4.x but I could not make it work. I can not send call over ICM to CVP right now. Sent to VRU node is not working and I did not change anything else except CVP version.

Regards.

Yes, I've used 4.0 licenses with 7.0.1, and I didn't have any issues.

Do you know that the license is the problem? Have you looked at the
tomcat logs or VxmlServer/logs/ directory for a license error? You can
try restarting the application server from the Windows Services window
and then check the Tomcat logs to see if Vxml Server has a licensing issue.

What if you try running the VxmlServer/admin/status.bat script on the
Vxml Server - to see if Vxml Server is running?

Perhaps you need to import your application into Studio and do the
Deploy from Studio to create a version that works on 7.0.2

You could also be missing custom java class or jar files.

So, try more investigation before assuming it's a license issue.

As Jeanine mentioned, to prevent disruption with customers, we do not require new licenses for later releases.

As part of CVP 8.0, we are looking at simplifying licensing, including moving VXML server to an IP address.

Hi Jeanine,
Actually I have done everything you said before and I saw everything was OK about licensing but I could not be sure. Because one of my friend said It could be this kind of problem and I just wanted to be sure.
Thanks.
