I am displaying menu items in the following way in an attempt to hide the numbers. The problem with this is that though the numbers are not shown in menu items, they get displayed when the user selects an item and the phone dials it.
Is there a way to hide numbers while they are being dialled?

Don't think you'll be able to do this via XML services.
