How to hold a call

I have a requirement for handle a call though a Rout Point, and hold the call, then call another number.   When the second call can be established, then merge the first call leg and second call leg, and Rout Point quit conversation.
anyone can can give me a sample or document for this requirement.

It is usually recommended to do any kind of feature interaction on CTI Port (CiscoMediaTerminal) and not on Route Point(CiscoRouteTerminal)
So, if RP is entry point for all calls, I would suggest that you route(selectRoute) calls from your route point to CTI Port (you can create a pool of CTI Ports) and then transfer calls from this CTI Port. CTI Port doesnt support multiple connected calls, so as soon as you would create second call, it would put the first call on hold.
