Is 3PCC (Third Party Call Control) possible with CiscoTSP?

I am trying to monitor incoming calls (for caller id information) and create calls from an application running on a PC next to a VOIP phone. The PC has no telephone hardware or software other than the TSP. Is this possible? Is there a certain version of TAPI, CiscoTSP, or phone system that is required? Thanks.

In fact, 3PCC - using a TAPI application to monitor/control a Cisco IP phone - is probably the most common usage.  If an IP phone is on the TSP user's 'associated devices' list, then it will be included in the list of devices the TAPI application can monitor/control.  Depending on what you want to do, you can receive events for incoming calls, obtain the caller/calling numbers, answer or transfer the call, etc.
