With JTapi you haven't to use the Cisco tsp.
You only need to define an applicationUser on CUCM and associates to it all the devices you want to monitor.

Hi,

i miss something simple.
i'm trying to control devices via JTAPI but a failed to create Provider.
i got this error "com.cisco.jtapi.PlatformExceptionImpl: Unable to create provider -- login=............".

i created an application user associated to devices i want to control and i still got this error.

Thanks.

i can't run makecall app.
our IT man said that 'Standard CTI Enabled' role assigned for the application user but i still got this error.
what is can be the reason for that.

Thanks.

Apart from the userid/password recheck, see if the application or end user has 'Standard CTI Enabled' role assigned.

You can run makecall or jtrace sample apps to verify the configuration as well.

JTAPI log should give some hints on what is happening. Do you see socket established to CTIManager service? Can you attach JTAPI log?
