Wondering, how CUCM can notify 3rd party CTI applications via events if MCID soft key was pressed.
My reading on Cisco documentation says there's none. Also the feature code (*39) in lieu of MCID soft key does not work on Cisco 79XX models, Is that feature code mean for POTS phone only?

We would like to trigger application logic if a user recieves a malicious call and he/she presses the MCID soft key.
Appreciate any input in this direction.

Anyone ever get anywhere with this? We have the same problem.

Best solution we have so far is to setup Alarm service to generate a SNMP alarm when the malicious call event is added to log and our app picks that up and responds to it, but its a very kludgy way of doing it.
