Created by: Sriram Santhanam on 23-06-2010 08:46:21 PM Hi I am new to TAPI Development. I have a problem with basic installation of TAPI. I have a CUCM and a Cisco TSP running on my VMWare server. What do i need on my local PC where the TAPI client is running, other than i have the MS TPAI service enabled and running. How do i install a Cisco TSP on my local machine? Any help is appreciated. Thanks Ram
Subject: RE: New to TAPI Replied by: David Staudt on 24-06-2010 04:02:55 PM See the Installation chapter of the TAPI Developer Guide found here: http://developer.cisco.com/web/tapi/docs Basically from the UCM web admin pages, under Application/Plugins, download the Cisco Telephony Service Provider - a windows installer - and run it on the client PC. Note additional steps are necessary to control specific devices, don't forget to configure a UCM enduser or applicationuser in the TSP settings, and to associated any devices to be monitored/controlled with the designated user.
