Guys,

I am having an issue where I am using the canned "Record" Element with CVP Studio 7 and am getting eh following error in the vxml log: Record_01,element,error,error.badfetch

I am also getting the following errors in my vxml gwy log with "debug voip application vxml error" on:
157841: Apr 30 04:21:32.762: //8097//AFW_:/vapp_bgpost: url=http://x.x.x.x:7000/CVP/Server; mime_type=application/x-www-form-urlencoded; len=114; iov_base=audium_vxmlLog=%7C%7C%7Caudio_group$$$initial_audio_group%5E%5E%5E0&audium_action=error&audium_type=error.badfetch
The error looks like an audio group problem but all i have in there is a .wav file and just one group and I tested that file with a standard audio element.

The settings I have for the record element are:
File Type : wav
Path: /CVP/en-us/app/"AppName"
Filename: blank (to use auto created one)

All other fields are default.  I havent used the Record element before so I may be missing something obvious.  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

For the error.badfetch during Recording; check your gateway
configuration. The gateway dial peer should not be set to use
voice-class g711ulaw, NOT 1 voice class 1 which allows either g711 or
g729 .

Sorry, there was a typo in that last post.
For Recording, the gateway dial peer SHOULD be set to use voice-class
g711ulaw, NOT voice class 1.

that worked.  I changed the VRU dialpeer to hard set the voice codec, and it work great now.

Thank you,
