All,
I need to access the licensing info on a VXML server. It looks like the password to do so has been misplaced. The web interface provides instructions to delete the login.properties file to reset the login.
Is this info correct? Are there any possibility of causing an outage doing so?

Hi David,
Yes, you have the right idea. To reset the password, delete (or edit) the file login.properties from VXML Server's "conf" directory.
Deleting this file won't cause an outage, but you will need to restart your VXML Server web application (or Tomcat itself) to pick up the changes. So you should perform this work during a regularly scheduled maintenance window.
