<AY> When opening provider, CTI will return a "CTIFAILURE.DIRECTORY_TEMPORARY_UNAVAILABLE (0x8CCC005E)" error code when CUCM Publisher is not available, this is where CTI does IMS authentication with DB. Please first check the Publisher connectivity, then check user credentials on CUCM admin page and any LDAP connectivity. Thanks.

Check that CTI manager IP address in connection string is correct. In my case administrator gave me backup CTI Manager IP After changed to correct IP it started working.
