Good day,

We are having an issue with the video switch not recognizing the second camera on the switch (Cam9).

We are getting video from both Cam 8 and Cam 9.
We are not getting control over either camera.
We have switched out cameras, codec, camera link cable, control cable to the switcher and even the power supplys.

Still, no control over the cameras and the MXP does not acknowlege the presence of camera 9.

Do you have any suggestions?  Should we switch the switch?

Thanks,

Mark.

Hi Mark,

To be able to help you I need to know what is connected where. Which cameras are you using? How do you cascade from one camera to the other? A connectivity chart would have been excellent.

Also the output of the API commands "xStatus Camera" and "xStatus switch" is helpful.

Best regards
Roger
