Is it possible to have a 1700MXP send the value of RemoteNumber whenever that value changes using the API's feedback mechanism? I'd like to telnet to the 1700MXP, enter the applicable commands and then when the RemoteNumber value changes, send it to a web address in this format http://www.somewebsite/script.php?receivednumber=RemoteNumber

Hi Bill,

yes, this is possible using the http feedback mechanism:
1xCommand FeedbackRegister ID: 1 URL: "http/foo/service" Expression.1: "/Status/Call/RemoteNumber"

When the value of RemoteNumber changes, you will receive a HTTP POST which contains XML formatted something like this:
1<Status>
2  <Call item="1" status="EstablOut" type="Vtlph" protocol="H323" direction="Outgoing" logTag="28">
3    <RemoteNumber item="1">foo@foobar.org</RemoteNumber>
4  </Call>
5</Status>

Thanks,
  Viggo

Easy question I know

The API doc and Integrator Guide and YOUR answer was extremely helpful. I now am able to have the system send me an email if I miss a video call when I'm on the road. Nice! FindMe is cool but if I miss the call on my Cell and they don't leave a message, I don't know who called.
