I am having a bit of an issue with the C series COMM Module: " TANDBERG_TC_v1_2_0_dr1_0_0"
First off, here is my setup:
Codec: C40
AMX control unit: NI-900
AMX 7" touch panel
Codec control via RS232
Uncommented the Property-Baud_Rate,38400 and using the correct device number
Tandberg control baud rate set to 38400 and set to "no login required"
Using Tandberg's netlinx program, everything on the touch panel works great.. For about 30 seconds to 1 min that is. After that, none of the buttons send commands out the serial port on the control unit. (as in the Tx and Rx lights on the AMX control unit light up when pressing command buttons during the first 30 sec to 1 min. After this amount of time, they do not)
when I hit the REINIT button, I regain control for another 30 seconds to 1 min. Then, it times out again.
I have also created my own simple netlinx program which uses the COMM module resulting in the same effect. I have a hunch there is something in the COMM module that is disabling serial communication with the codec. If so, is there any way around this? If not, is there any way to send direct CLI commands to the codec using solely netlinx programming and no duet module?
