Created by: Abdul Salam on 01-07-2010 02:11:43 AM Could you please help me to have a better understanding of these terms in an ICM perspective. As far as I know CTI manager comes along with CUCM, But rest of the two is always a confusion for me. Thanks Abdul Salam
Subject: RE: CTI Server, CTI OS , CTI manager Replied by: David Lender on 23-12-2011 03:18:32 PM CTI server provides the CTI Protocol and Interfaces to the ICM PG.(Peripheral Gateway). CTI OS connects to CTI Server and provides a set of Client Interface Libraries (CILs) for implementing CTI applications without having to know the particulars of a specific ACD. CTIOS publishes button enablement events for CTIOS Clients to use.
CTI Manager is a Callmanager term for the native Callmanager CTI support. Further questions about Callmanager CTI should be directed to one of the Callmanager API support forums.
