The below trick might come handy when you have to add a new node to a cluster but you don't have or is unsure of the security password for the publisher. This procedure has been around for ages.

1) Login into the CLI of the Publisher.

2) Run the command "utils create report platform"

3) Download the platform config file from the path given in the output of the command to a SFTP server (eg:freeftpd)

cli2.png

4) Extract the file you downloaded, the platformconfig file would be in the path usr\local\platform\conf

5) Download UCOS Password Decrypter tool from  https://www.adhdtech.com/uctools.html#ucosPD

6) Hit select file and select the platformConfig file from usr\local\platform\conf

7) And viola you have your passwords decrypted.

you can setup any SFTP server and fill in the details of the server (ip address, username, password etc) when you are prompted to do the same once you put in the file get command from the cli.
