Core Issue

The Failover Configuration Wizard succeeded on the Primary Unity server. But, when you run the Failover Configuration Wizard on the Secondary Unity server, it fails with an error, which states that the SQL distribution agent has a failed start within a reasonable period of time.

Resolution

Complete these steps in order to resolve this issue:

  1. Ensure that the Computer Browser service is started on both Cisco Unity servers and wait for five to 10 minutes.

  2. Work through the Microsoft Knowledge Base article at How to troubleshoot the "Cannot generate SSPI context" error message.

Use the UnityInstall account to Log on as for both the MSSQLSERVER and SQLSERVERAGENT services, as the UnityInstall account is a member of the Domain Admins group.

Re-run the Failover Configuration Wizard on the Secondary Cisco Unity server.
