Core Issue
A user wants to change their Network Access Identifier (NAI) and Mobile Directory Number (MDN), but keep all personal and company groups records.
For example:
User 1
908xxx@cisco.com (NAI)
9085559999 (MDN)
is changed or re-provisioned to:
User 1
406xxx@cisco.com
4065559999
Resolution
To change the NAI and MDN for a specific user, perform these steps in the exact order they are presented:
- Swap the old NAI with the new NAI.
- Update the old MDN with the default_MDN_NAI (the new NAI).
- Update the new NAI with the new hash password.
- Swap the old MDN with the new MDN.
- Update the new NAI with the default_MDN_NAI (the new MDN).
Note: All together, there are five P interface transactions from the provisioning system that must take place.
