How to change the configuration of an IP phone that runs the SIP load if the password is unavailable

Resolution

In order to change the configuration of an IP phone with the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) load if the password is unavailable, complete these steps:

1. Setup a Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP) server on the same network as the phone.   
2. Edit the SIPdefault.cnf file with the new information.
