Subject: RE: How to stop Idle URL refresh

If I understand you, the phone should request it's idle URL once - when it first becomes idle - and that's it. It should not continously request its idle URL over and over.
Is it possible you have an HTTP 'Refresh:' header being returned as part of the message?
I would recommend taking a network packet capture, from the phone's extra switch port, to check the contents of the idle URL message. You can attach here if you can't spot anything.

Hi,
I have created a webpage that sends a menu back to the phone when contacted by phone by virtue of the idle url settings.
However because the timeout is 5 seconds, the phone refreshes itself every seconds. I was wondering if there is any mechanism that the phone only contacts the website once and stop contactting the website until the phone status changes and comes back to idle again.
So basically I am looking to control the refresh rate of the idle url.
