I have received the following from one of our UK partners.  He can no longer add the tick next
to ¿Enable Synchronizing from LDAP Server¿. This is restricting him from setting up LDAP sync. He cannot add or delete any ¿agreements¿.  Screen shot of the issue attached......

WebEx Social 2.5

The fault has arisen in the section

Portal > Settings > Authentication > LDAP Directory Sync.

One agreement was made already. But i need to change the time on it. Now i am unable to edit or delete this agreement. There is no longer a tick within the "Enable Synchronizing from LDAP Server" box.

When i do try and add a new agreement or edit / delete the existing one i get an error message "You cannot add LDAP directory before specifying a default LDAP server type and enabling synchronizing from LDAP server option. ".

And as i cannot add a tick to the "Enable Synchronizing from LDAP Server" box, i cannot do this.

Please help.

Many thanks,

Answer provided by Chis Chandler....

I can¿t find the CDETS at the moment, but I believe this one can be remedied by:
1. Go to the LDAP Authentication tab
2. Select one of the radio buttons under ¿Default Values¿ (Note: This will potentially change the settings in the ¿Connections¿ section, so make note of these settings prior to making a selection)
3. Click the Save button
4. You should then be able to Edit or Delete the agreement

An update.....

it seems that the LDAP Sync setup can be affected by choosing screen name or email address as the logon method from the previous tabs. Unable to re-test as the system is now being used.
