Core Issue
In the Cisco CallManager 3.x, the IP phones are registered and work fine, but the device configuration page shows the Data was unable to find current nodes on which this system is running error message. In the Cisco CallManager Serviceability page, under control center, the DBLX.ProcessNodeListX.1 error'80040606 error message appears.
Resolution
Generally this error is a result of poor SQL performance on the subscriber.
In order to resolve this issue, complete these steps:
- Update the hosts and lmhosts files on all the servers in the cluster.
Refer to Configuring The IP Hosts File on a Windows 2000 CallManager Server for detailed steps.
- Once the host and lmhost files are updated, re-register the dblx.dll. In order to register the component:
- Open a command window on the Cisco CallManager.
- Choose the C:\WINNT\system32 directory.
- Run regsvr32 dblx.dll.
- After the hosts and lmhosts files are updated and the dblx.dll is reregistered, complete these steps on all the servers, publisher first:
- Choose Start > Programs > Administrative Tools > Component Services.
- Click the + sign beside Component Services.
- Click the + sign beside Computers.
- Click the + sign beside My Computer.
- Click the + sign beside COM+ Applications.
- Right-click DBL, and click SHUT DOWN.
- Right-click DBL, and click START.
- Close the Component Manager window.
- Finally, complete the steps in Reestablishing a Broken Cisco CallManager Cluster SQL Subscription with CallManager 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2 in order to repair the broken subscription.
