Gentlemen,
Hope all is well in Oslo!
I have a consultant that would like to specify 12 cameras with a visca controller.
1) Should I have any concerns about controlling these with a Sony joystick?
2) Are you aware of any limitations with the amount of cameras on a visca chain?
3). Are the cameras velocity sensitive? Will the cameras move faster holding the joystick longer?
Thanks!
Chris

Hi Chris,
1) We do support the Visca protocol, so in theory this should work just fine. However we have not tested it with such a Sony joystick so it should be tested and verified.
2) The Visca protocol is limited to 7 cameras and this is what we support.
3) We do support speed as a parameter when controlling the camera. It doesn't do this automatically, so you would have to specify a command to tell it what speed to use when moving the camera.
Best regards
Roger
