Core Issue

The issue is observed when a user runs the installation via Windows Terminal Services or the incorrect procedure is followed during installation.The error also occurs if you copy the Unity CD/DVD to the hard drive and run CUICA from there.

Resolution

In order to resolve the issue, run the Sentinel system driver installation file manually from Cisco Unity installation media. Then run CUICA again.

  1. On the Cisco Unity server, insert Cisco Unity Disc 1 in the CD-ROM drive.

  2. Browse to the Security Key Setup directory.

  3. Double-click SentinelSystemDriver.msi.

  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation of the Sentinel system driver.

Once you complete this procedure, re-run the Cisco Unity setup.
