Cannot call from one phone to another over WAN

Hi Two phones are connected over WAN and registered on cucm. The two can call each other through 4 digit extension, but cannot call call each other using 7 digit number. What is troubleshooting step for this? Thank you

I would start by doing a DNA for the call and look at what results you’d get. Likely it’s a problem with the phones not seeing the 7 digit route information in its CSS.
