How to install CIPC on Virtual Machines
++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Please make sure you have already installed Virtual Machine on VMWARE, Virtual Box etc.
Requirements:
1) CIPC setup
2) Virtual Audio Cable
Step 1: Open a Remote Desktop session to your Virtual Machine.
Open Local Resource Tab and go to Configure remote audio settings
++ In settings choose Play on this Computer and Record from this computer
For Windows XP: choose "Leave at remote computer";
For Windows 7: Settings => Play on remote computer.
Step 2: Installing Virtual Audio Cable:
++ Extract the Virtual Audio Cable
++ Run the setup.exe depending on your system (32-bit and 64-bit both are included in this .rar file)
++ Once the installation is successful. Go to Device Manager and check if it has installed correct
Step 3: Installing CIPC:
+ Extract the CIPC file that you downloaded You can use your version of CIPC if required.
+ After that reboot the system.
Step 4: Running CIPC:
In Windows 7 CIPC should be run in compatibility mode to be able to use virtual audio cable : Right click on CIPC shortcut => Properties => Compatibility tab => Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" => Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
So before running the CIPC please make the compatibility to Windows XP (SP3) and run as administrator.
