In attempting to install Cisco Unity 7.0.2, the Message Store Configuration process fails without giving any message or indication as to the cause.
Installation on Windows Server 2003 SP2 with all the latest MS updates (including those from the Cisco Update Wizard).
The Install Cisco Unity process completed fine, including confirming all system dependencies.
The Domino server environment - templates and ACLs along with DUCS 1.2(5) - has been setup per the documentation for Domino 8.5.1. After completing the initial Unity installation and installing ES21, the Lotus Notes 8.5.1 client has been installed and configured, and the Unity Installation process detected it properly. Connectivity to the Domino server is fine from the Notes client.
The message store has been set to Domino during the "Configure the Cisco Unity Services".
AD is installed on the Unity Server and am using the Administrator account and LocalSystem for the Services, so doubtful there are permissions problems.
After starting the wizard and clicking Next, I get the following dialog windows. There is no indication of the problem. I have attempted the full end-to-end installation process three times now with the same result.
Install the CiscoUnity_Lotus8.xSupport fix before running the Unity Configuration Wizard.
NOTE: Installing ES21 does not incorporate the fix found in the solution.
