CMM MobilityManager dial-in with VXML script does not work, which results in dropped calls

Core Issue

The Communication Media Module (CMM) dial-in with the Voice Extended Markup Language (VXML) script fails if it is not loaded correctly or is corrupt.

Resolution

In order to fix the issue, complete these steps:

  1. Reload the script.
  2. Remove the "+" and "-" symbols in the VXML script.

Note: Although VXML is added in Cisco IOS  Software Release 12.2(11), these software releases have VXML issues and must not be used:

  • Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3(8)
  • Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3(9)
  • Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3(14)T1
  • Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2(15)
