Cisco Recommends Dual NIC deployment for Expressways. But single NIC deployment can be achieved.

Points to be noted for single NIC:

> Firewall must support NAT Reflection, if not then you can use dual NATing to achieve NAT reflection on unsupported firewall like Fortigate.

> If you're geolocation doesn't support PSTN calls over internet then you need to block them through Device Mobility.

> Need to resolve SRV's.

The DNS configuration should be:

externaldomain.com on the external:

resolving only the Expressway-E.

externaldomain.com on the Internal:

Resolving only the CUCM & IM&P servers.

Hi,

For Singl NIC development you will need an advance network license for Cisco Express E. And second mistake you had made as:

externaldomain.com on the Internal. It is wrong.

you need as internaldomain.com on the internal.

Hello Deepak,A friend of mine has deployed expressway in single nic deployment. We have opened the media ports, and other ports such as 5061,5060,8443 etc. Cisco jabber has registered

When jabber makes calls, there is no audio or video.

What could be the issue?
