Has this process changed, or is it different for the IX5x00 units?  I've tried this on 4 panels in all different states of operation, and none of them respond to the mute press for 10 seconds (or 20, or 60 for that matter).

The correct procedure for factory resetting a Touch 10 connected to an IX system is as follows:

  • Unplug the power/network cable from the back of the Touch 10
  • While holding the Volume up hard button, re-plug the power/network cable
  • Wait for the Mute hard button to get lit (red) - approx. 5 seconds
  • Release the Volume up button and click the Mute hard button
  • The Touch 10 should continue its boot-up cycle and pair back to the IX5000/5200

I've tried doing this and it doesn't work. The 10 will flash red in the bottom middle, light up normal and then reboot. It's almost as if it's stuck rebooting, even without holding mute and pushing the down volume twice. or having it unplugged holding mute then plugging it in... it's just stuck on a constant reboot. How can I fix this or what is wrong to replace it?
