did you go from a non-AD integration to an AD integration during this process?  I am reading the Cisoc docs and I am not seeing anything about needing AD integration as a pre-requisit.

You are right, AD is not a pre-requisite for office 365 integration.

We never got it working on CUC 8.6

Eventually the customer upgraded to v10.6 and my understanding is we did get it working on there.  I didn't do it however so I don't have any insight other than "don't do it on v8.6"
