You can record prompts for Cisco CallManager AutoAttendant (AA) on any computer using Microsoft Sound Recorder. Save the prompt as a .wav file in CCITT ( -law) 8kHz, 8-bit, mono format. You can use another audio application to record the welcome prompt if it supports this format.
Use a PC, Apple, Mac, or server-based tool to record the greeting.
Note: Do not use the telephone to record the greeting because the quality of the recording may be affected.
