Here's a great example of how WebEx meeting applications helped Cisco change course quickly to ensure the company met its business and and customer obligations even in the face of the worst snowstorm to hit London in years. It's all about business continuity.

Agreed, I was very stuck but with Webex and Meetingplace was able to carry on with little impact. The only impact was contacting some customers who had little access to corporate resources whilst at home. That said there was definitely a great deal of interest on business continuity after these events. It goes to show just how affected we can become with something as simple as a couple of inches of snow!
