Servicenow ticket creation from touch panel

i understand there is api and macro can be used to connect to service now via the touch panel . the problem in my organisation is that there is a need to connect to a proxy to be able to connect to service now 

how can i do that ?

as per user guide, you can setup proxy aware for the touch pannel config.

proxy aware , which part of the setting have that ?

is it a particular firmware to have that setting ?

I am attempting something similar and have used the api on GitHub that is referenced however, it is pretty old and I continue to have the following error:

'Unhandled promise rejection' { code: 1, message: 'Unable to check hostname' }

When I use Postman, I can confirm that my base 64 authentication does work.
