Resolution

The port usage differs from one device to another.

This list describes the requirements between different devices:

• Operations Manager (OM) <_-> IP Phones OM does not interact directly with the IP Phones but with the Cisco CallManager who provides the information to OM. There is nothing needed between OM and IP Phones.
  
  
• OM <_-> Cisco CallManager:
     
  • Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) (needed for the discovery)
    
    
  • Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) (161UDP)
    
    
  • Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) (80TCP)

• Node-to-Node test This is done through Cisco CallManager, so action is taken during these tests.
