- Connect Serial Cable to console port (Data Port) of VCS
- Open Putty and select serial change board rate to 115200 & click open
- Power recycle the VCS
- Log in with the username pwrec. No password is required
- VCS will ask for Username
Username: admin (root if you want to reset root password)
Enter new UNIX Password:
Retype new UNIX Password:
Passwd: Password updated Successfully
NOTE: The pwrec account is only active for one minute following a restart. After that time you will have to restart the system again to change the password.
