Problem description

How to view the visual call status of user's line ie busy/ringing/idle on Cisco Unified Attendant console?

 

Solution

You can view the call status for any device in the Directory. The Status window allows the operator to view the status of a contact prior to transferring a call or connecting a contact to a conference call. The operator can answer calls and view busy status.

Step 1 In the Directory, right-click on a contact.
Step 2 Choose Status > Calls from the menu.
The Call Status of the selected contact is displayed. For example: 

Name: John Smith - Name of the contact
CLI:  2000 - This is the number call was made from
DDI:  1001 - This is the number call was made to
Status: Talking - The current status of the call

I know this is not the right forum still thought we can check quick, customer has Cisco Attendant Console Standard 10.6 and CUCM 10.5.2 line status is shown properly but they also want the directory status to show properly like if the user has forwaded the line to voicemail, it shows it is forwarded but according to doc's this should be different icon like a cassette player not just the forwarded icon. Is there something we are missing to see that status in the console?
