Here’s a one page cheat sheet on how to enable Webview Tracing and collect Logs:
Tracing
1. ServletExec Logging
- Go to "<drive>\icm\web\webview\reporting\servlet\properties" directory.
- Open "adminui.properties" in wordpad.
- set "WEBVIEW_DEBUG=true"
- To ensure logs do not get overwritten and rolled over, you can increase the number of logs files and the size of each log file.
Go to the Servlet exec admin page:
Start > Programs > New Atlanta > ServletExec x.x ISAPI > SerlvletExec Admin. User: admin, Password: <blank>
Click on "manage logs" under "Advaced" section.
For ServletExec.log, increase the number of logs files (Max ServletExec.log Backups) and the size of each file (ServletExec.log Rollver Limit).
2. EAServer (Jaguar) Logging
- Go to "<drive>\icm\web\webview\utils" directory.
- Right-click on "DebugOn.reg" the file and choose Edit.
- Modify "Debug"=dword:0000000x. Settings are as follows:
• x=1 is basic debugging.
• x=2 is more detailed debugging. This is typically the highest level you will need.
• x=3 is the most detailed debugging. This setting makes logs grow very quickly. Use it only when troubleshooting header locking in reports.
- Run (double click) on "debugOn.reg" file. Click "Yes"->"OK" on subsequent dialogs.
3. Sadlib Logging (for Authentication)
- Go to registry 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cisco Systems, Inc.\ICM\SystemSettings\"
- Set "Debug_Sadlib = Yes"
- Set "Debug_Sadlib_AD_Buffer_Size = 100 (Decimal) or 64 (Hex)". If the registry key is not present, add it.
4. Stop Jaguar, Stop Apache Tomcat, restart IIS, Start Jaguar, Start Apache Tomcat. Note: If you do not stop/start Tomcat, agent re-skilling will not function properly.
Logs
4. ServletExec Logging
- Go to "<drive>\Program Files\New Atlanta\ServletExecISAPI"
- Send us the "ServletExec.log[.1][.2]....." file
5. EAServer (Jaguar) Logging
- Go to "<drive>\Program Files\Sybase\EAServer\bin"
- Send us the "Jaguar.log" file

If version: 5.0 or beyond, go to <drive>\Program Files\Sybase\Jaguar CTS 3.5\bin\srv.log
6. Sadlib Logging
- Go to "c:\temp"
- Send us the "sadlib.log" file
