Core Issue

This problem is only seen with the subscriber. This error message might be due to the host and lmhost entries.

Resolution

Complete these steps to solve this problem:

  1. Reload the subscriber and reinstall Cisco CallManager 4.x.

    Proceed to step 2  if you continue to receive this error message.

  2. Make sure that the host and lmhost files on the publisher and subscriber are updated.

    Go to the C:/WINNT/system32/drivers/etc/host and  lmhost directories to locate  the host and lmhost files.

    <ip add> publisher

    <ip add> subscriber

  3. Run DBLHelper.exe on the publisher path to put it in the  c:/program files/cisco/bin directory (in the publisher only).
  4. Double click the DBLHelper.exe file.
  5. Click  Republish.
  6. The Service Release (SR) is reinstalled. Proceed to the next step if it still fails.
  7. Restart the Cisco Database Layer Monitor and MSSQL services.
  8. Reinstall the SR.
