I am unable to connect to the sand box vpn while connecting to t our Microsoft server testbox with remote desktop. I receive the error
VPN establishment capability for a remote user is disabled. A vpn connection will not be established.
When connecting directly from a workstation and not remoted in the vpn works fine. Is there a way I can get the vpn to work when I am logged in with remote desktop using anyconnect?

My company does not allow VPNs to be installed on its desktops other than the authorised one. This means that I have a remote box through which I gain access to the Cisco Sandboxes. In a recent anyconnect upgrade for some reason I get the "VPN establishment capability for a remote user is disabled. A vpn connection will not be established" error. I have looked at C:\ProgramData\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client\Profile\AnyConnect.xml and it still has the WindowsVPNEstablishment tag set to AllowRemoteUsers which has allowed me to use the VPN remotely until now. I assume that this profile is no longer being read in the latest VPN build. I have looked for other solutions but that seem to involve Cisco Adaptive Security Device Manager which I am hoping is not needed as I am only wanting to use the VPN for sandbox access. Anyone any ideas?
