One challenge many community members face is finding the exact thread, solution, or documentation they need—especially when keywords vary or when older content holds the answer but is buried deep.
My idea is to introduce an AI-powered smart search tool within the Cisco Community. This search engine could:
Understand natural language queries (e.g., “How do I configure VPN on ASA 5506-X?”) and match them with the most relevant posts.
Summarize long forum threads into key points or solutions.
Highlight official Cisco docs and related discussions in a single result panel.
Suggest similar questions asked in the past to reduce duplicate posts.
This would save members time, improve engagement, and make the wealth of Cisco Community knowledge more accessible for both new and experienced users.
