High CPU load on Community site in Edge

Hi All

Since some days I have a very high CPU load in Edge when I have the community open. The more tabs I've open, the higher the CPU load.

I've traced this now back to a javascript which is loaded from here: cdn.walkme.com

I've blocked this URL now and since that the CPU load is back to normal while having the Community site open.

It's loaded in the header, this is in the source code:

<script src="https://cdn.walkme.com/users/8365d3e616a5489ba001c6bcacbc5777/walkme_8365d3e616a5489ba001c6bcacbc5777_https.js" type="text/javascript" async=""></script>

Please forward this to your webmasters.

Thanks

Patrick

It's not the only useless embedded URL I'm blocking. My filter blocks also:

https://app-static.turtl.co/embed/turtl.embed.v1.js

and

https://www.cisco.com/web/fw/m/metrics.min.js

I'm also blocking HTML page elements with class=.footer-social-container and class=.lia-user-avatar-message

All those wastes a lot of resources and causes page load delays (not speaking about severe privacy issues related to some of them). Cisco seems not to care - I reported some of them long time ago with little or no feedback. Fortunately, skilled user can solve it by self.

Thanks for the tips, appreciate them!

I still hope that they will fix the CPU issue though, it started some when last week, I think.
