Level 9

Hello Community, we have just launched the CSC Expert Vlogs beta program. The intent is to have experts from Cisco provide their perspectives about the community and share their technical knowledge in video blog format. We plan on releasing video blogs on a periodic basis. We would like to get your feedback and thoughts about the topics you would like to see and the way in which the videos are presented at https://supportforums.cisco.com/community/netpro/ask-the-expert/vlogs. Thank you for your time in providing this feedback.

Hi Monica/CSC Team,

I must say that this looks like a fantastic idea

The use of Vlogs will truly put the "Human" in the Human Network

so to speak. I think that the one of the key concepts that is paramount

to this initiative being a success is that contributors/Vloggers be free to

comment honestly on all levels. This must not be a Cisco "Marketing"

community endeavor but a true "Support" community endeavor. The need

for straight talk about products, bugs, issues, likes, dislikes, problems,

design, work-arounds, common mistakes, successes and failures must

be freely disseminated. This is a great opportunity to open up a frank discussion

on all things "Cisco", but it will fail if it is used as simply another marketing

tool rather than an honest "insider" look at supporting Cisco products. The fact

that great Engineers like Joe and Carlos are willing to participate and share

their time trying to help the community is wonderful!!! Please don't handcuff them

by making them "spin" the corporate line, let them loose without borders and the

CSC Expert Vlogs program will become an incredibly valuable addition to our

CSC community

Cheers!

And thanks for continuing to make the CSC better and better all the time!

Hi Monica,

This is great news for sure!

To be able to get "first-hand" information, tips and thoughts

and "straight talk" from Cisco knowledge experts will be an invaluable addition

to the CSC. As I said in my first post, it is so good to see

the Community getting better and better all the time

The fact that the CSC Team is always looking at ways to improve

the Community means a great deal to those of us who participate

here! Keep up the good work!

Cheers!

Rob,

Thank you for your thoughtful comment about the CSC Expert Vlogs Program. What you've just mentioned is the very intend of this progra; that is, to be support focused. I agree with you on all that you said. We are very excited to allow Cisco experts discuss in a free way things that can help this community with their troubleshooting and configuration questions about Cisco products and technologies, as well as talk about what is in their minds, all in a more "human" way.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

Kind Regards,

Monica Lluis
