Connectivity of the Bridge to Cisco

The documentation states:

The Diagnostic Bridge does not have direct communication to Cisco’s My Diagnostic Interface. It
needs a web browser of the client PC, managing the Diagnostic Bridge. All the communication to
port 5001 goes through the host connecting to My Diagnostics.
Does this meant that the bridge can be deployed in an environment that is very restricted by firewalls and as long as the client browser can access external sites (like cisco.com) everything will still work?

Yes, as long as the client browser can access external sites (like cisco.com) everything should still work.  For more information, you may wish to consult the Diagnostic Bridge Installation and User Guide, which can be found on the product support page: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/services/connected-tac/index.html
