We are hitting the bug  CSCtj51228 just wanted to ask whether 7.2(7) has the fix for this BUG?

7.2.7 would have the bug fixed as it would include bug fixes from 7.2(6)SR0(23).

Hi Gajanan,

Thanks for the prompt answer. But the Field Notice for the defect shows that 7.2(7) need an ES for the fix.

ICM 7.2(7)ES139.

if the upgrade had the fix it wont have a special ES for this would it?

If you have the field notice, could you please share the link or document ?

7.2.7 is already End_of_Extended_ES_Support: August 5, 2011, I dont think Cisco will release any ES for it. TAC would just advise to get on next stable main release.

the link for the field note. Yeah makes sense but the ES is mentioned in the field note.

Well, the field notice document was last Revised on January 28, 2011 ( roughly 1 yr ago ) & then 7.2.7 went end of software maintenance in Aug 2011. I am sure, Cisco must have removed it from CCO Download page after incorporating the fix to next stable main release SR.

At this moment, there is no way to get that ES, you will have to upgrade to next main release only.
