Access to report definitions CUIC

I've been asked to provide access to cuic reports definitions to a department so they can carry out sql queries

Does anyone see any issues with this, Risks?

Shouldn't be an issue. CUIC has safeguards in place to ensure they don't kill the system. Any new definitions would only affect new reports built from that definition.

I disagree with David on this one.

If you give them the ability to create/edit report definitions, they can break you if they don't have the best intentions/don't understand.

Just one example is, they can bypass any permissions you have in place to allow them to report on groups that they shouldn't have access to.
