On Verion 12.5 of Contact Center Express
When working with sample files.
In this case using the following:
https://github.com/CiscoDevNet/finesse-sample-code/tree/master/EmbeddedWebAppSampleGadget
The documentation states to copy sample files to the /files directory.
This directory does not exist. Do we need to create it?
I tried creating the /files directory and copying the samples.
When i try to access the https://server/3rdpartygadget/files/EmbeddedWebApp/EmbeddedWebApp.xml
I get a 404 error when I access that url.
Thank you.

It doesn't matter what directory you use. The Finesse layout just needs to reference the correct location. If you want to create the /files folder do so or not.

Right but the problem Is not matter where I put the files from the sample I get a 404 error. As if the files aren't there...
Any idea? Do you have an example ?

Ok I think I see the issue you're trying https://server/3rdpartygadget/files/EmbeddedWebApp/EmbeddedWebApp.xml, but should be trying https://finesseURL/3rdpartygadget/files/...

Hi,
In addition to what David has said, if your URL is https, make sure you are using the port (8445) in your URL. Also, are you logging into the SFTP using the 3rdpartygadget account? If not, here is how you enable to account: https://developer.cisco.com/docs/finesse/#!enable-or-reset-3rdpartygadget-account
Thanx,
Denise
